Create an account in the game to play online with friends.
Your account
- Open FRIENDS in the game menu, or click your name.
- Pick a username (3-20 letters, numbers or spaces) and a password (6+ characters).
- Passwords are stored scrambled (salted scrypt hash) and never shown to anyone. Too many wrong tries lock the name for 10 minutes.
- Change your password any time from the same screen.
Friends & parties
- Add friends by username; they accept from their friends list.
- See who is online. When a friend hosts a party, a Join party button appears next to their name.
- Online play needs an account so everyone has a real name in the lobby.
- Play from any browser: Quick Play finds a room (or opens one), and rooms have a 5-letter code to share. No server setup.
